The background for the development of EFAWOOD H2O 1K is, that the wood furniture industry wanted a replacement for the traditional smelly and environmentally harsh acid-hardening solvent borne paints. 

The big issue when trying to replace acid-hardening paint is, that most paintshops are built with drying facilities and temperatures suitable for acid-hardening paints. We took on the challenge and developed a waterborne product, which directly replaces the solvent borne paints, without the need for changing anything in the paint shop.

The unique properties of EFAWOOD H2O 1K are:

• Fast drying at the same temperatures as acidhardening solvent borne paints
• Easy to apply, both with HVLP and airmix atomizing
• 2-i-1 product – also usable as edge-sealer for MDF
• Reduced need for intermediate sanding due to less fibres
• Exceptional hiding-power, also in custom shades
• Waterbased, very low VOC/HAPS
• Good for the working environment, MAL code 0-1
• 1 component paint, no waste of unused paint and no rinsing of equipment needed for overnight stops in the paint process 
• Is diluted with tap-water to the desired spraying viscosity
• Stocked in standard glosses of 15, 35 and 70
• Stocked in clearcoat and white RAL 9010 in all 3 standard glosses
• Stocked in 10 and 20 liter buckets.
• Can be toned in all RAL and NCS colors in the factory in Esbjerg
• Can be produced in custom glosses according to order
• Tested according to DS/EN 12720
