FAXE Wooden Floor Soap

Where to use:
FAXE Wooden Floor Soap is especially developed for the finish and maintenance of lye-treated wooden floors, furniture, table tops, etc., but it is also excellent for untreated and pre-oiled wood, tiles and cork, etc. Lyetreated wood is thoroughly saturated with a rich dilution of FAXE Wooden Floor Soap.

Preparation:
Remove loose dirt from the surface using a broom or vacuum cleaner.

Application:
Preparations for cleaning:
• Fill both buckets with 5 litres of water, add approx. 1 cupful of soap to one of the buckets (1:40).
• Mop the floor clean using the soapy water. Loosen stubborn dirt, pick it up with the mop and rinse the mop in clear water.
• Damply mop the floor with the clean soap dilution. Do not rinse the floor with clean water!

Application as soap protection:
• Mix 1 part of the FAXE Wooden Floor Soap with 5-10 parts of warm water.
• Apply a thin film of the soap solution, with the grain, using the lambswool appli¬cator and allow drying.
• Repeat the treatment after drying, 2 to 4 times.
OBS! Stubborn dirt can be removed gently by using a white pad and a small amount of soap dilution

Maintenance/Cleaning:
Wooden floors with soap protection are cleaned in the same way as described under “cleaning” except soap solution of twice the strength is used (1:20). Very dirty wood or unyielding stains are treated with FAXE Intensive Cleaner and hot water in dilution 1:40.
Let the wood dry for 1-2 hours and then saturate it with FAXE Wooden Floor Soap as described under “Application”. FAXE Spot Remover can be used for gently removal of stains from ex. grease, blood, coffee, tea, red wine at un-treated and treated wooden floors. Spray FAXE Spot Remover onto the stain. Let it work for 10-20 minutes. Dirt is loosened and removed with a soft pad or brush.

Technical data:
Cleaning: Clean tools with water.
pH value: 9-10.

Storage: At temperature above 5°C .

Components:
Soap made from vegetable oils and natural wax, chalk and titanium white, <5% EDTA, 5-15% Soap.

Empty the complete contents of the container into a plastic vessel, stir thoroughly before and during use. Several containers containing identical products should be mixed together.
The finished result depends, amongst other things, on the preparatory treatment, structure and natural colour of the substrate. For this reason, try out first on a sample area.
